Hello Sweet Crew!
I’m super excited to be here again this week! Over the next few weeks, I want to share with you the (ongoing) journey of finding my voice. I’ll be highlighting some of the most memorable & significant stories that really impacted my ability to sing & that I believe are incredibly relevant & tangible for anyone who wants to fall in love with their singing voice.
This week I’ll start with those stories from before I went ‘pro’ as they say. What kept me going, what made it fun, & what did I learned that helped sustain my journey. I also will share two of my most favourite songs from when I was younger. The first, ‘Rockin Robin’(by Bobby Day) is also one of my earliest memories & a song I sang A LOT. Practicing this song over the week has been incredibly joyful. The second ‘Sweet Caroline’ is a Neil Diamond song my dad often played in our beige living room where I would dance & sing along. I hope you enjoy these as much as I’ve enjoyed learning them again.
You can find this week’s blog here: https://www.amythiessen.com/.../pt-1-secrets-to-joyful...
Finally,
I would LOVE to hear about the first songs you remember singing or those ones that you were obsessed with as a kid. I think these might be the BEST songs for returning to that sense of freedom in singing & song.

Much love & huge hugs Xo Amy
